That's the month I am always waiting for because it’s the most romantic month ever! There is one big fancy festival (I beg all 78 provinces around Thailand that make it’s the same day this year, it’s held on the third of November). When we talk about Loi Krathong Day it reminds me of the Nopamas Beauty Contest, which come with this festival, I remember I used to participate Nopamas Beauty Contest with my faculty when I was a first year at university. Unfortunately, I did not get any luck that day. However I am very proud of myself as I never thought I would do something like this.

Well, you can come to join this festival and make sure you have a Krathong, which is made from a cross-section of a banana tree trunk, which is then elaborately decorated with folded banana leaves and flowers in intricate towering designs.

It's a romantic day for couples, they come to Loi Krathong,  Oh I forget to explain “Loi” means “float” so totally to float Krathong. and if they have done something bad in the past year they make a wish as they release the Krathong into the water, and let it go as far away as possible, meaning bad things go with and where the Krathong goes. Some couple believe if both Krathongs come close together when on the water, the couple will be together next year.
